A sneek peak at Ellen!! (your gonna wanna see this)
I’m currently working on images from a shoot with Ellen from last week. Hey there’s 30″ inches of snow outside I got time!! Ellen is a stunning girl, talented, and hard working. Trust me on this I worked the girl hard. When she left the studio she was saying how sore she was from posing. I still have plenty of images to narrow down but here is a quick peek. Cristi Ain’t Bluffing
Cristi was in the studio last week for some Pin up style shots and was a lot of fun to shoot. While we were shooting we discovered she likes Poker. Well ,I just happened to have a case of poker chips and cards in the studio. Few minutes later and we had a theme going. Some of the shots required some very strategically placed chips but that is another post and well you will have to register and verify your age to see those when I post them. Registering is easy, just use the link on the right. All that happens is you get an email when I put up a new post. For now here’s a preview. Make up by Alpha Kitty Creations.
Elle Muse Images
Just as her nickname implies she inspired me to make some great images. “Elle” is only a second time model and discovered her love of having her picture taken during her engagement photos wither her fiancee Mike. She decided she would like to do some modeling for fun and setup a profile on Model Mayhem. They are both a lovely young couple and the shoot was a blast. Mike is a lucky man for sure! My kinda Christmas Gift
Had the opportunity to shoot with Julie in December who wanted some fantasy and pinup shots to giver her new husband for a Christmas present. We shot on a Sunday while he was watching football (yes I missed a Sunday of Football). So we shot some on a plain background I could change in Photoshop. She did a great job and her husband is a very lucky guy. Make up by Alpha Kitty Creations.
Some Christmas work
I know it’s been awhile since my last post but I have had quite a bit going on the last couple of months. On top of shooting and the holidays, I had knee surgery the beginning of December. But as usual work won’t wait. Here are a few from December.

Rear Curtain Sync and Some Coffee
Just playing around this weekend and Tried some rear curtain sync. Sounds like a bad Band name doesn’t it. Well it’s a camera setting that allows for some slower shutter speeds and enables your to get some special effects shots like these with the glow sticks. Then I practiced some product shots with a fellow Photographer. Most of the shots were for her to prepare for and upcoming shoot but I snapped a couple. I liked one with some coffee beans.
Some passed by
Here a few older images I passed by on the first run. Cheryl, Kristie, and Ashley. Certainly not ladies to be passed by.

Mike’s Day out
I had a business meeting in Baltimore and spent a couple hours burning some time at the inner harbor. I walked around the USS Constellation. I love sailing ships so I’m up for any chance to get on board one. Walked trough the Mall Downtown and I discovered some sea monsters in the Harbor. Good thing I had my camera was with me.
Enjoy!

Skyline Drive and the Blueridge Parkway in VA
I took a three day Motorcycle trip this month for a couple of reasons. One, I need to get away and refresh. Riding helps me do that especially when its in scenic places and This trip was all that. Two, I wanted to go shoot some pictures for no other reason than I wanted shoot. Shooting for no one but myself makes Photography fun and recharges me creatively. I have been wanting to practice some illustrative HDR (High Dynamic Range) images so here was the chance. Basically it’s like this; no matter how good the camera is, it is nothing compared to our own eyes. Anyone who has tried to take a picture outside knows that if you expose for the bright sky the foreground goes dark and if you expose for the subject the sky blows out all white. We know the sky was blue but the camera is incapable of rendering the entire dynamic range of the light. Our eyes see this because we make multiple exposures so fast and our brain puts it all together so we see the entire range. HDR photography does this by shooting multiple images at various settings and then blending them together to represent the entire range. You can make a realistic image or you can Tone Map the images for a more stylized look like I have done here. There are many sites out there about HDR and many Photographers who specialize in it. Here is my first attempt. I hope you like.
